Transportation and Energy HTML5

Summary

To move, alone or with others, with or without goods, you need to consume energy. This energy will be transformed into a driving force for us to move or to move the vehicle that carries us.

Fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas), despite the pollutants released during combustion, are the most used energy sources in transportaton.

Note: All cases are not represented. In addition, some vehicles combine several sources of energy such as an electric bike (that also pedals), the electric car (sometimes equipped with an internal combustion engine), or glider and balloon that require initial source of energy before runnning on the wind.
