Technical questions – website features
- How to unzip a simulation file after download?
- By clicking "Download this simulation" you download a zip archive that must be unzipped if you want to read it. In order to unzip files, an unzipping software must be installed on your computer. Right click on any eduMedia archive (.zip file) and you should have the ability to “extract here” through the extract archive menu listing.
- For Mac computers we recommend Stuffit Expander (you should use this one instead of BOMArchiver).
- How to play a simulation once downloaded to my computer?
- By clicking « Download this simulation » on eduMedia website, you download a zipped archive (.zip).
- Unzip this archive. It will be unzipped into a directory named for itself.
- Open this directory and double-click on the HTML file: the simulation will then play in your default web browser.
